We recognize that there is a rarely one piece of code that will work for every situation; therefore, we provide multiple embed code options to offer the highest level of flexibility for our customers. For either method, username/password access is the default method of authentication.
Embed Code
- This embed code format can facilitate the authentication via the proxy server that the subscribed institution has enabled because it can contain the proxy server prefix URL for the institution’s proxy server. The user accessing a video embedded with this embed code format may be prompted with the proxy server login screen.
LTI Link
- Purpose: This embed code format is meant to be used for embedding videos in a LMS environment via the LTI authentication protocol (version 1.0).
- Authentication: This embed code format uses the LTI authentication protocol (version 1.0) so that both in network and out of network users can receive seamless authentication where they DO NOT receive a login prompt when playing the embedded videos in the LMS.
